Plants, pygmy goats and pop up crafts!

This Saturday 5th April 9 - 1.30 the Rode Hall Farmers Market really exemplifies how we are so much more than just a Farmers Market!
Of course there will be all our wonderful local producers there.. Many of whom have just won prizes in the Great Taste Awards including Galore and Purple Creations for their marmalade.Spring is here and we welcome back Hope Organics with their massive array of organic herbs also for the first time Rectory Garden Nurseries who with their beautiful cottage garden plants and wide selection of herbaceous perennials. We also welcome Pen y Lan Pork with sausage rolls.
Easter is round the corner and so we thought it would be fun to have a Pop up craft market to give an opportunity to buy some quirky and hand crafted Easter gifts. Di Stone will be giving a felting demonstration and Gordon will be showing us how to spin the Potter's wheel!
The children will enjoy this month too as as well as Sarah and Milly doing Easter crafts with them there will be a Pygmy Goat display in the paddock with goat experts Wendy and Robert Kinsey who will be there to enlighten us on the joys of keeping these gorgeous animals!
There will be live music as Mc Donagh are playing and the charity of the month is the Alsager Ladies Lifeboat Guild. The park has dried out so you will be relieved to hear wellies are not needed this month! Daffodils everywhere and the Rode Gardens are open and looking spectacular with all the Magnolias, azaleas and spring plants, definitely worth a visit!
